Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. to Give Away Suite of Premium Products to 100,000th Subscriber of Its Free Credit Monitoring Service

Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp., the leading provider of credit building and credibility management solutions for businesses, will celebrate a milestone for its free CreditSignal® credit monitoring service by giving the 100,000th subscriber a suite of its Premium Credit and Credibility products. CreditSignal, launched in December 2012, is a first-of-its-kind free business credit report that alerts companies to changes in their business credit scores and ratings. Based on the current trajectory of signups, the milestone is expected to be reached by next week.

CreditSignal was created as the first free alert product to enable businesses to track and stay alert to the changes taking place in their business credit file.

We’re nearing 100,000 signups and want to mark this significant milestone by awarding a package of our premium products to the 100,000th business to sign up.”

At the June 2012 Clinton Global Initiative, the company committed to provide up to $1 million in paid products and services to small businesses whose credit qualified them to benefit from the company’s solutions, but were possibly not able to afford them. “I’m thrilled to announce that after one year, we have met and more than doubled our Clinton Global commitment and today have donated over $2.5 million,” said Judy Hackett, Chief Marketing Officer, Dun & Bradstreet Credibility, at today’s Clinton Global Initiative. “In part, this was achieved by empowering our credit advisors to identify businesses in need and match them to the product they would benefit from the most.”

The broad-based need for a free monitoring product was underscored during a November 2012 security breach in the South Carolina Department of Revenue. Dun & Bradstreet Credibility reacted quickly to the crisis, partnering with South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, in conjunction with its Clinton Global Initiative commitment, to make its $199 credit monitoring solution available for free to help protect affected businesses. “We learned that by getting a free business credit monitoring solution into the hands of more small businesses, we were actually educating them on the importance of knowing and monitoring what was in their D&B file,” Stibel added.

In celebration of its 100,000th CreditSignal customer, one business will receive a year’s subscription of Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. premium products – comprised of CreditBuilder™, VERIFIED™, and D&B Credibility Review™, valued at $3,097.
